What is VoIP?
VoIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol and it is a technology used to transmit voice over a data network using the Internet Protocol. This enables you to make and receive phone calls through a broadband Internet connection. AmeriMex provides a device that allows you to make and receive VoIP calls using a standard telephone.
What is broadband?
Broadband is a high-speed Internet connection that normally runs through a DSL or cable modem. In general terms if your speed is better than 256 Kb/s you are using a broadband connection. In order to use AmeriMex’s VoIP product you must have broadband. This helps us to ensure the quality of your communications.
Is this device locked to a specific VOIP service provider?
Yes, it is locked with AmeriMex VoIP.
Can I call anyone I want?
AmeriMex VoIP product enables you to dial any number in the USA as well as any international number. AmeriMex offers very competitive rates through out the world. You can select any of our long distance plans with our VoIP product.
Can I use multiple phones with your service?
1) There are multiple ways to use our service in multiple phones: Use your existing home telephone wiring to route AmeriMex service throughout your house to your existing telephones.
2) Use a cordless phone system that comes with a base unit and extra handsets. The base station of the cordless telephone plugs directly into the AmeriMex VoIP device. Multiple handsets can be placed anywhere in your house.
3) Use a multiple jack extension connector. Plug the connector into the phone port of your phone adapter, and then plug your other phones into the connector.

What is the monthly fee?
1)VOIP PLUS: The monthly service is $25. Unlimited Residential Use* to the Following Countries: USA, Canada, Argentina, Mexico, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Holland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, England, Australia, China, Singapore and Taiwan.
2)VOIP Basic: The montly service is $15. it does not include minutes. Allowes access to our excellent long distance rates. Usage calls billed on a per minute.
3)Commercial. It depends on the usage and king of business.
How can I pay for this service?
You can make cash payments in our main office, our metro Atlanta stores or you can make payments through our Web site with a credit card. www.amerimex.biz or in this website.
Is there a limit of calls or minutes used with AmeriMex VOIP?
It is UNLIMITED

How long does it take to have the service?
Under normal conditions the activation of the service may take up to 1 business day, then the device (ATA) will be shipped via UPS priority mail and take around 2-3 days within the United States, if your order is going to be shipped outside the Unites States it will take 7-15 days under normal conditions. (The shipping due date depends on the country)
Although it may be delayed in case there are technical difficulties.
